An illustration of a TBM ‘Avenger’, a WWII era torpedo bomber, for New Boston Air Force Station interpretive history usage. Beginning in 1942, ‘Avengers’ and other aircraft used the Joe English Pond area for bombing and strafing practice.

Commissioned by the BLM, this illustration of Garnet recreates the structures and activities of the mining town in it’s heyday in about 1910. Garnet “ghost town” is a popular destination for visitors to western Montana each summer.
